Abstract

PROGRESS IN THE PRE-CAMBRIAN GEOLOGY OF LOWER SILESIA Summary The purpose of this paper is to present the achievements of Polish geology in the fundamental researches made during the last 20 years on the Pre-Cambrian deposits occurring in the Lower Silesian area. The paper is based on the materials already published and en the author's observations, as well. The author presents a general outline of the evolution of his opinions based on his studies, and on literature data concerning structure of Pre-Cambrian formations in the Lower Silesia area, and discusses the results obtained when studying the individual regions of the area considered.
