MAIN THESIS OF THE WORK "THE ROLE OF HALOKINESIS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE YOUNG MESOZOIC AT MOGILNO"
Summary
The work, the main theses of which are presented in this paper, is a result of seven-year researches and studies conducted by the author in the area of the Mogilno structure and within the Mogilno-Lódź synclinorium.
The main purpose of the work was to investigate in detail the lithological and facial sections, and to detect in them some changes proving the development of structure, having taken place during the sedimentation of Mesozoic and Cainozoic formations. The author also discusses problem of halokinesis that took place at the Young Mesozoic time in the Mogilno structure. It appears that the discussions and the results obtained may be of great importance in search for oil in the area studied.
