HOME MINERAL RAW MATERIALS FOR PRODUCTION OF BLEACHING EARTHS
Summary
To the problem of bleaching earths the attention was paid only in the recent years. At present, many scientific research centres are working on this problem. So fair, three regions of occurrence of bentonites are known in Poland, i.e. Kielce, Sub-Carpathian and Lublin regions.
The authors give characteristics of these deposits and stress that proper exploitation and enrichment processes may lead to obtain greater quantities of mineral raw material used for production of high quality bleaching earths. Moreover, in the authors' opinion, there are region in Poland, in which considerable quantities of raw materials may be expected for production of bleaching earths. Here belong: district of Poznań and western areas of Poland.
