ESTIMATION OF NATURAL AGGREGATE RESOURCES AVAILABLE FOR ROAD MAKING
Summary
The modernization and development of road network in Poland planned for the years 1976-1990 requires an adequate resources of natural aggregates. The paper presents an analysis of the present- day knowledge and degree of utilization of natural aggregate resources for road making as well as prognoses for future developments in this area. The need for large-scale intensification of geological- prospecting and documentation works is emphasized.
