ANALYSIS OF RESULTS OF ROCK DENSITY MEASUREMENTS FROM NW POLAND
Summary
The differentiation of the Earth crust in density is often clearly reflected in the image of gravimetric anomalies. Therefore, the applicability of gravimetric method to recognition of geological structure of an area is determined by the knowledge of density relations geological profile, that is, the knowledge of magnitude of density contrasts and trends of surfaces (planes) of these contrasts. The paper presents a new still not used technique of summation of rock density data. This technique is discussed on the example of density data for the areas of NW Poland.
