Abstract
CAMBRIAN FORAMINIFERS FROM THE HOLY CROSS MTS.
Summary
The microfaunal studies on the Cambrian of the Holy Cross Mts have shown occurrence of foraminifers in Lower and Middle Cambrian shales from Klimontów, Sandomierz and the Pieprzowe Mts near Sandomierz (Fig. 1). The foraminifers are represented by some poorly preserved and thus hardly identifiable agglutinated forms only. It was possible to identify the following taxa: Hyperammina (?) sp. (2 small test fragments), Thuramminoides sphaeroidalis Plummer (over 150 generally well preserved specimens) and Ammodiscus aff. leei Miller (10 poorly preserved specimens) (see Figs. 2-3).
