Abstract
HYDROCHEMICAL PROBLEMS IN THE UPPER SILESIAN COAL BASIN
Summary
The Geological Institute has conducted for many years the study on solution of problem concerning mineralization of ground waters occurring in the Silesian region, as well as on explanation of processes influencing distribution of these waters.
The present article gives the preliminary results of the works. The results of the studies led to the conclusion that the main influence upon development of a given mineralization of these waters depends on geological and hydrogeological factors.
