Abstract
ACTIVITY OF THE COMMISSION FOR HYDROGEOLOGICAL DOCUMENTATIONS IN THE CENTRAL OFFICE FOR GEOLOGY
Summary
The article deals with the problem of reasonable economy with respect to the ground water resources. So far, this problem was underestimated in Poland, and the ground waters were not satisfactorily preserved. To put in order this problem the Commission for Hydrogeological Documentations has been called at the Central Office for Geology. The task of the Commission is to initiate, to normalize, to coordinate and to control the hydrogeological investigations.
The Commission: a) estimates the hydrogeological documentation, especially as concerns the correct-ness of determination of ground water resources,
b) estimates other documentations and geological elaborations concerning hydrogeological problems,
c) makes analyses of methods of conducting the hydrogeological works for documentary purposes, and has an opinion on prescriptions concerning the projects of hydrogeological works and the determinations of ground water resources.
The article gives a detailed characteristic of activity of the Commission for Hydrogeological Documentations in the period of last few years.
