Abstract
TASK OF HYDROGEOLOGY IN THE SPHERE OF WATER SUPPLY
Summary
Continuous increase of demand for water, and deterioration of quality of surface waters, considerably raise the importance of ground waters and lead to greater use of these latter. The increase of demand for ground waters imposes a duty upon the hydrogeologists to improve the effects of hydrogeological investigations.
The article deals with the hydrogeological elaborations made up to now, presents problem of methods applied at present and of methods to be introduced, shows calculations of water resources, and gives practical indications for the future.
