The applicability of quadrupole logging in a complex of electrometric logging methods of identifying, recognition, and determination of electromagnetic rock parameters is discussed. Its differences, similarities, advantages and shortcomings in relation to classic and remote resistance, induction and magnetic susceptibility logging techniques are emphasized.
