Abstract
REMARKS ON ELABORATION PRINCIPLES OF METALLOGENIC MAPS
Summary
In connection with future session of working group Metallogenic Map of East Europe at Zakopane authors suggested some questions those ought to be discussed on the session. These questions are: to determine and devide the aspect of detailed and general metallogenic map, map of useful raw materials and map for individual elements; to determine the basic units for spatial (province, ore region, ore zone) and age (epoch, stage, cycle, faze) distribution of the investigated regions.
There is a critical opinion about basic of making metallogenic maps and conventional symbols suggested by the parisien conference Subcommittee of Metallogenie Map of World, described in the paper of R. Osika.
Symbols mentioned above does not take consideration the essential properties of ore deposits - genesis and age and makes less dear the metallogenic maps. Therefore authors making the metallogenic Map of Sudetes (l :100 000) used there own conception and symbols.
