LOWER SILESIAN SERPENTINITES AND POSSIBILITIES OF THEIR USE AS ORNAMENTAL STONES
Summary
The paper presents geological-mineralogical characteristics of the Lower Silesian serpentinites with regard to the Possibility of their use as ornamental stones. Serpentinites from the deposits occurring in the vicinities of Jordanów Śląski, Nasławice, Radunia hills (Tąpadła area) and Złoty Stok area have been found the most suitable for ornamentation purposes. They may be used in the production of artistic-ornamentational objects for both – home market and export.
