A NEW CLASSIFICATION OF DEPOSITS OF CLAY RAW
Summary
On the basis of the results of analysis of clay raw material deposits documented and exploited for the needs of construction ceramics industry a new classification of the deposits is proposed. It is based on the following criteria: - geological characteristics of the deposit, - characteristics of the geological-mining conditions, - technical properties of the raw materials. The results of application of this classification are discussed on the example of clay raw materials of Cracow and Rzeszów regions.
