Abstract

POSSIBILITIES OF USE OF ELECTRIC RESISTANCE METHOD IN PROSPECTING AND RECOGNITION OF NATURAL AGGREGATE DEPOSITS Summary Difficulties encountered in search for natural aggregate deposits in the Lublin district are discussed. It is proposed to we electric resistance method in the search. The tests made with the use of this method, the methodology and results obtained are discussed. The results are presented in the form of tables of apparent resistance values of various lithological types of the studied Quaternary deposits. There are distinguished apparent resistance intervals which suggest that the studied areas are perspective or not. It appears possible to identify lithological types of Quaternary deposits and the degree of their saturation with water by interpreting electric resistance data. Several methodological suggestions are made.
