MEASUREMENTS BY THE REMOTE CONTROLLED FIELD METHOD IN DEEP BOREHOLES
Summary
Various techniques of measurements by the remote controlled field method in deep bareholes are analysed. Attention is paid to difficulties encountered in resistivity measurements of large depths. On that background some basic features of the method
of synthetic remote controlled resistivity logging (SPOst-7) are discussed from the point of view of their applicability to measurements in deep boreholes. A special attention was paid to such advantageous features of the method SPOst-7 as a complex mode of recording of measurement curves, a possibility of obtaining relatively complete geophysical information (recording several types of resistivityb cures with different measurement range in linear or logarithmic scale), relatively simple and rapid mode of interpretation of measurement curves and possibility of taking measurements under various geological-geophysical conditions.
