Abstract
PROGRAMMING DIRECTIONS IN SEARCHING FOR NATURAL AGGREGATES ON THE EXAMPLE OF KOSZALIN, SŁUPSK AND NORTHERN PIŁA VOIVODESHIPS
Summary
The paper deals with problems connected with increase of natural aggregate resources and the necessity to use the methods of programming prospecting works. In selecting proper methods of programming the staff of the Rock Material Resources Department of the Geological Institute has developed the concept of regional prognosis of resources perspectives for large parts of the country. The experience gathered in the course of preparation of such prognosis fur the ancient Toruń - Eberswald valley was utilized to precise the principles of prospecting for natural aggregate deposits in the form of methodological elaboration. The elaborations dealing with the problems of estimation of natural aggregate resources in the scale of the whole country were also prepared in the Department. The paper presents programme for prospecting for natural aggregate deposits on the example of the areas of Koszalin, Słupsk and northern Piła voivodeships.
