Plejstoceńskie ślimaki lądowe ze stanowiska Łuczyce k. Przemyśla
Abstract
PLEISTOCENE LAND SNAILS FROM ŁUCZYCE NEAR PRZEMYŚL
Summary
In SE Poland was found a site of land snails, among which were found the species Vallonia tenuilabris (Braun), which is now extinct in Europe and Trichia unidentata (Draparnaud), one of the rare species in Poland. The other 6 species (Tab. I), are typical loess-species. On this base, the eolian-solifluction sediment, in which were found the remains of the snails must be correlate with a glaciation. Thus, on the base -of the malacological analysis was determined the climate and ecology, while the age of this site has been interpreted - on the base of palaegeographical relations - as the Vistulian Glaciation (W. Laskowska-Wysoczańska - 8).
