Abstract

ON THE STRATIGRAPHY OF THE LIDZBARK WARMIŃSKI AND THE LABIAWA BORE-HOLES Summary Bore-holes at Lidzbark Warmiński and Labiawa were already performed before the World War I. Both the lithological description and the stratigraphical subdivision were made by P. G. Krause (1909) and A. Jentzsch (1913). Stratigraphical subdivision was reinterpreted in 1927 after revision of faunal determination. Numerous bore-holes made during last years in northern and north-eastern Poland allowed, on the basis of elaborations of P. G. Krause and R. Brinkmann, fur a precise analysis of the stratigraphical profiles from Lidzbark Warmiński and Labiawa. On this basis the subdivision of Jurassic period is given in the accepted and applied stratigraphy in Poland. The detailed stratigraphy of both profiles from Lidzbark Warmiński and Labiawa is presented in the article, too.
