PROBLEM OF IRON-ORE DEPOSITS PROSPECTION THE FORE-SUDETIC BLOCK, IN THE LIGHT OF NEW GEOLOGICAL DATA
Summary
In the pre-Cambrian and old-Palaeozoic Fore-sudetic Block appear some characteristic showing the possibilities of iron-ore occurrence.
For such appearances the general lithologic-stratigraphical resemblance of rocks building the Fore-sudetic Block to the respective pre-Cambrian and older Palaeozoic profiles in various iron-ore deposits in the world may be included.
Within these rocks building the Fore-sudetic Block, there have been confirmed the presence of greenstone series and exhalation deposits, as well as developed regional and contact metamorphism, i.e. the accompanying characteristics of much of iron-ore deposits of the metamorphic type.
