Abstract

OIL OCCURRENCE POSSIBILITIES IN THE PALAEOZOIC OF THE ŚWIĘTY KRZYŻ MTS Summary In connection with intensified prospecting for mineral raw materials being until now mainly concentrated in the southern and northern area of Poland, the paper deals with problem of oil occurrences as well in the area of Święty Krzyż Mts. This area was not hitherto examined as a perspective area of occurrence of the above mentioned raw material, although undoubted traces of bituminous substances in solid, liquid and gaseous states occur within the Palaeozoic deposits of this region.
