Abstract
ENGINEERING-GEOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF THE LOWER VISTULA RIVER IN THE VICINITY OF TCZEW AND OPALENIE
Summary
Engineering-geological investigations carried on in the lower course of the Vistula river by the Establishment of Engineering Geology of the Geological Institute are described in this article. Some work methods comprising aerial photographs, geophysical investigations and simple geological methods are mentioned here.
Aerial photographs are used as an actual, detailed topographic basis. Out of the geophysical methods resistivity and refractory seismic method were used.
Preliminary results of investigations of filtration coefficient by field method were presented.
