Abstract

ON SOME RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS IN MINE GEOPHYSICS Summary The author describes: 1. J. K. Ovtshinnikov's theory of counting of monoelectrode resistivity (during moving it in bore-hole filled with mud). Monoelectrode contacts with the walls of a bore-hole. Monoelectrode logging can be applied specially in ore prospecting drillings for ore zones differentiation. 2. F. P. Kokesh's and R. B. Blizard's article on "Geometrical factors in sonic logging". Author's achievements of geophysical logging of bore-holes by acoustic detector with one ultrasonic emitter and two receivers allow to apply this method in Poland. 3. Recently constricted instruments for measuring of curvature of bore hole in the light of W. W. Shitikhin's article in „Razwiedka i ochrana niedr" No 10, 1958. It is suitable to use in Poland the gyroscopic inclinometer SI-3 measuring of the azimuth of bore-hole deviation in full-string parts. This Soviet made inclinometer could be applied in pipes of more than 100 mm in diameter.
