Abstract

QUATERNARY GEOLOGY OF MAZOWSZE AND KUJAWY Summary Quaternary deposits occupying vast areas of Middle and Northern Poland are broadly taken in the account in the publications of the Geological Institute. Quaternary researchers concentrate chiefly in the Warsaw and Płock depressions also in adjacent areas. The Vistula valley may be regarded as a “geomorphological axis” of these areas. This article deals with the results of some of these investigations.
