MORE IMPORTANT NATURE MONUMENTS IN LOWER SILESIA
Summary
The present paper contains general informations about the most important monuments of inanimate nature in Lower Silesia. It is based on archive materials made accessible by The Curator of Inanimate Nature Monuments in the Wrocław voivodship and on geological literature.
To the inanimate nature monuments in Lower Silesia and being protected are classified:
1. Singular and complexe outcrops of rocks with rarely encountered forms of weathering.
2. Outcrops of effusive rocks with interesting texture.
3. Caves and rock shelters.
