CHARACTERISTIC OF THE SERPENTINITE FROM GROCHÓW
Summary
Results of investigations of serpentinite from Grochów (Lower Silesia) are presented here. Nonweathered, partly weathered and disintegrated serpentinite was analysed. Mineral composition depends largly on the degree of metamorphose of serpentinite. Technological investigations showed that only unweathered serpentinite is of economic value. It could be used as a: raw material for natural aggregate, concrete and for foundations of buildings.
