REMARKS ON LOESSES OF THE SOUTH LUBLIN UPLAND AS A LOCAL BASE OF CERAMIC RAW MATERIALS Summary Constant development of building in Poland needs the increased equipment with building materials. Realization of building investments in different regions of the country is restrained very often by the lack of the suitable local base of raw materials. The paper points out to some p:roblems connected with the utilization of loesses of the southern Lublin region, as ceramic raw materials for the production of bricks and clinker. Author gives the chemical and mineral compound and some technological properties of the loesses as well.
