POLISH PHOSPHORITES AND ITS POSITION IN N. S. SHATSKI’S CLASSIFICATION
Summary
Author discusses the general outlines of N. S. Shatski’s classification of phosphoriferous geological formations. An application of similar classification to Polish phosphorites is attempted. In author’s opinion, some of less known Polish phosphorites are connected with the geological formations characterized in Shatski’s classification by presence of famous, particularly rich phosphate deposits.
