MODELLING PROBLEMS OF ZN - PB ORE DEPOSITS: CHECHŁO DEPOSIT IN THE OLKUSZ REGION Summary Part of the Chechło Zn - Pb ore deposit occurs within the Devonian carbonate rocks. The bore-holes data suggest steeply inclined irregular bodies or chimeneylike bodies, small in horizontal section. These data are however insufficient for determination of the real genetic model. The applied methodology of exploration should be changed, because ore bodies are not stratabound (as within overlaying Triassic carbonate rocks) but probably tectonically controlled.
