COMPUTER GEOLOGICAL DATABASE - AN EXAMPLE
Summary
The paper presents geological database application system based on IBM PC, designed for Bełchatów brown-coal mine. The database contains the borehole data as well as the results of ground water level measurements and analyses of coal and water. The logical structure of the database is described. Some characteristics of the application software, compiled with the CLIPPER compiler, are presented. Some problems of geological data representation are also mentioned.
