Abstract

PERSPECTIVES OF FINDING BARITE MINERALIZATION IN THE SUDETES ACCORDING GEOCHEMICAL AND SCHLICH MAPPING DATA Summary The detail geochemical mapping with alluvial and schlich sampling, directed by author, was done on area of Central Sudetes (map sheets: Walbrzych and Kłodzko, scale 1:200000), noticing there - among other elements - barium and barite. Results of this mapping allowe to discuss the perspectives for finding barite mineralization in Sudetes. 11 anomalies were defined within which - after author – is possible to locate new barite ores.
