Summary
Report on the activities of the lUGS Subcommission on the Systematics of Metamorphic Rocks is presented. The most important provisional definitions prepared already by the Subcommission are discussed. Some problems of the nomenclature of metamorphic rocks in Polish language are raised to initiate the discussion.
