O anomaliach prędkości rozchodzenia się fal sejsmicznych w osadach malmu północno-wschodniej części monokliny przedsudeckiej
Abstract
ANOMALIES IN VELOCITY OF PROPAGATION OF SEISMIC WAVES IN MALM DEPOSITS OF NE PART OF THE FORE-SUDETIC MONOCLINE
Summary
Local anomalies in velocity of propagation of seismic waves, recorded in north-eastern part of the Fore-Sudetic Monocline, may be interpreted as a result of changes in facies of Oxfordian deposits from marly-clayey to reef limestone. The changes are responsible for the presence of zones of deteriorated quality of seismic data on reflection seismic profiles. An attempt is also made to define the extent of Oxfordian reef facies on the basis of nature of seismic record.
