ANALYSIS OF METAFEATURES AS A METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION OF FOSSILS Summary The statistical analysis of simple features in many cases cannot be used to determining of the species in analysed collections of fossils. Here is presented the method of metafeatures analysis as a technic of that research. The background and the applying conditions are discussed and an example is given.
