Some remarks on origin of "Vermiculare Limestones" Summary The studies on characteristic structures of "Vermiculare Limestones" made it possible to distinguish several morphotypes of such structures differing in shape, internal structure and origin. The most common are here "vermiculare bodies" resulting from deformations taking place in reversed density gradient systems. Forms made by bottom currents or representing traces of the activity of mud-eaters are rare.
