Abstract
RAW MATERIAL RESOURCES AS A FACTOR LIMITING CONCENTRATION OF NATURAL AGGREGATE PRODUCTION
Summary
Size distribution of natural-aggregate-works producing for the needs of building industry was analysed, It appeared that both the existing and designed works are characterized by exponential distribution of the size of production. The tests showed that the distribution of natural aggregate deposits is the same. It was also found that regions characterized by different quality of aggregates are those With different distribution of resources. The demand for aggregates is not covered by the existing resources so it is necessary to exploit also small deposits in districts poor in aggregates which also impedes the concentration of exploitation.
