Abstract

MAPS OF POLLUTION SOURCES OF THE UPPER SILESIA COAL BASIN AND ITS MARGIN ZONE (SW POLAND) Summary The maps present possible and ascertain sources of pollution to groundwater reservoirs located in the area of Upper Silesian Coal Basin (USCB) and Margin of USCB. The little area and punctual sources of pollution are presented on the main map of the scale of 1 : 100 000 within separated areas of Usable Groundwater Basins (UGWB) and Major Groundwater Basins (MGWB). The linear and spatial polluted areas are presented in the side maps of the scale of 1 : 300 000. The paper contains the brief characterization of several of kinds of pollution sources producing pollutants to groundwater
