Stalagmity z czarno zabarwionymi laminami z Jaskini Ciemnej (Dolina Prądnika)
Abstract
STALAGMITES WITH BLACK LAMINAE IN THE JASKINIA CIEMNA (DOLINA PRĄDNIKA, SOUTHERN POLAND) Summary Some stalagmites with black coloured laminae were found in Ciemna Cave (Ojców National Park) (Fig. 1). They are of domelike or rodlike shape and their height varies from 7 to 19 cm. These stalagmites are composed of white, porous calcite, probably of microrganical origin and laminated calcite with black laminae. A radiocarbon analysis of one stalagmite was done; the results are shown in Fig. 2. The black laminae are probably of anthropogenic origin.Issue
