Abstract
VIVIPARUS DILUVIANUS (KUNTH) IN THE SEDIMENTS OF MAZOVIAN INTERGLACIAL FROM GRABANÓW IN PODLASIE (EASTERN POLAND)
Summary
Among several sites of lake sediments in the region of Biała Podlaska (1-4, 10) the site Grabanów is interesting, from palynologic and malakologic points of view. The palynologic analyses indicate, that these sediments were deposited during Mazovian Interglacial. Malacological fauna found often in these sediments, for example Viviparus diluvianus (Kunth), confirms the age of these sediments, paleoecologic and paleoclimatologic conditions indicating the deposition in a lake during the similar climate as to day.
