LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY AND SPORE-POLLEN ZONES IN THE NEOGENE OF POLISH LOWLAND
Summary
Neogene deposits of the Polish Lowland are composed of continental sediments of brown coal and clayey, sandy and gravel formations. Lithological data are the basis of the Neogene stratigraphy. The paper presents the summary of research on the Neogene time scale, lithostratigraphic correlation and I-XIV pollen/spore complexes distinguished in continental deposits of Polish Lowland (Figs 1, 2).
