EVALUATION OF DEPOSIT RESOURCES
Summary
Geological resources of deposits are calculated on the basis of the obligatory balance criteria. The criteria comprise a set of geological-mining and technological-qualitative indices and economic calculations. Balance criteria are defined for the whole deposits and single exploratory mining works. Limit balance parameters of a deposit are calculated on the basis of investment effectiveness index (E). Marginal balance criteria for a single mining work are defined on the assumption that the value of acquired deposit will cover costs of exploitation. Marginal values of parameters of deposits below cut-off grade are defined with reference to progress in exploitation and enrichment of the deposits.
