METHODOLOGY OF ESTIMATIONS OF PERSPECTIVE DEPOSIT RESOURCES
Summary
The concept of perspective resources and principles of their classification into prognostic resources of the Polish mining categories D1, D2 and D3, and potential resources of the category E are defined. The criteria, mode of estimation of resources, degree of reliability and significance for planning, economy and geology of all the categories are given. The role of other factors, especially economical and technological ones, which influence estimations of perspective resources. at the basic research as well as prospecting, g stages, is also discussed. The prognosis of resources is here treated as the first stage in designing these studies. Organizational measures necessary to ensure connect procedure and mode of estimating perspective resources are proposed.
