BASIC STATIONARY GROUNDWATER OBSERVATION NETWORK IN POLAND
Summary
The reasons and aims of arrangement of stationary observations of ordinary groundwaters from all the groundwater horizons utilized in Poland are presented. Further part of the paper deals with the main principles of hydrogeological observations and organizational scheme. The types of observation networks, problems which they have to solve, the :range and frequency of observations are discussed. On that background, there are given the achievements of the Geological Institute in the field of construction of the basic observation network in the country.
