Abstract
STATISTICAL ANALYSIS ,OF SELECTED PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF CARPATHIAN OILS
Summary
The search for oil and gas in the Polish Flysch Carpathians has been carried out for over a hundred years. This resulted in gathering of a vast amount of data concerning the surveyed deposits, especially very numerous results of physico-chemical analyses of oils. The last years witnessed marked progress in use of mathematical-statistic methods in analysis of geochemical data. The use of mathematical-statistics apparatus makes also possible to obtain more complete characteristics of the analysed interrelations.
The present paper deals with mathematical-statistic analysis of eight selected physico-chemical parameters of Carpathian oils. The analysed parameters were obtained for both oils from the known oil fields and those encountered by single drillings in isolated areas. Attempt was made to select most representative material, comprising the maximum information from the whole area of the Flysch Carpathians.
