RESULTS OF STUDIES OF DEPOSITS FROM STARY KURÓW NEAR DREZDENKO ASSIGNED TO THE BRORUP INTERSTADIAL
Summary
The paper presents the results of detailed studies of the whole section of deposits exposed at Stare Kurowo near Drezdenko, which are assigned to the Brorup Interstadial. The studies were concentrated on deposits displayed by eastern wall in the abandoned part of the clay pit. The results of analysis of geological section, characteristics of the deposits, paleobotanic interpretation of fossil flora as well as stratigraphic interpretation of the section and conclusions are given. The significance of the section for stratigraphy of the Vistulian of north-western Poland is evaluated with reference to the results of these studies.
