Abstract
INTERGLACIAL SEDIMENTS IN THE VICINITY OF MIKORZYN IN KONIN REGION (CENTRAL POLAND) Summary About 3 km to the south of Ślesin (Fig. 1), in the brown coal mine, there are exposed interglacial sediments situated between the till layers of Middle- and North Polish Glaciations (Figs 2, 3). In these sediments were found 45 species of molluscs, some fish remains and remains of Rodentia. During the accumulation of sediments containing molluscs, the paleoecological conditions were varying from land conditions in the lower part of the section, to lake conditions - in the upper part of the geological profile.Downloads
