Abstract


PETROPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF SOME ROCKS FROM THE FORE-SUDETIC MONOCLINE

Summary
The paper presents results of studies on petrophysical properties (density, porosity, heat conductivity, temperature conductivity, specific heat capacity, velocity of longitudinal wave, and electric resistance) of rocks from the Fore-Sudetic Monocline. Studies on air-dry and saturated samples of rocks such as anhydrites, dolomites, and Bundsandstein and Rotliegendes sandstones showed interrelationships and dependences of the above properties, presented in the paper in the form of graphs. The obtained results suggest strong dependences or dependence trends between less known physical parameters such as heat conductivity, temperature conductivity and specific heat capacity and the remaining petrophysical properties.
