The results of deep geomagnetic soundings in the area of Northern and Eastern Carpathians are presented. The position of zero line of induction anomaly is well established and seems to represents the axis of geosyncline. According to authors views good conductor on the depth between 6 - 16 km represents porous rocks filled with mineralized hot water.
