The paper deals with the question of exploitation of small gas and brown coal deposits, the use of which may contribute to covering demand for energy in our country in the nineties. The conditions of local exploitation of these deposits are discussed in detail, along with technological series which would facilitate these tasks. The southors recommend careful analysis of usability of individual gas and coal deposits.
