Abstract

SELECTED PROPERTIES OF ROCK MASSIFS AND STRESS STATE Summary After discussing the used strength criteria and mechanism of destruction of rock massifs, there are analysed papers dealing with strength problems, submitted at the Scientific Session. There are analysed 6 of the submitted papers and attention is mainly paid to some doubtful points or those unsufficiently clear, often because of the lack of some necessary data.
