Abstract

GEOLOGICAL-RAW MATERIAL CONDITIONS OF OCCURRENCE OF MID-POLISH GLACIATION GRAVEL-SANDY SEDIMENTS IN NE POLAND Summary The relations between distribution and origin and age of gravel-sandy sediments are discussed. The knowledge of these relations is of utmost importance for planning search for these raw materials. The paper also presents estimations of raw material potential in zones of individual stages of the Mid-Polish Glaciation, along with characteristic geological-mining features, conditions of occurrence of deposit series, and technological-qualitative raw-material characteristics for various genetic types of natural aggregate deposits.
